Ladkem Eye Hospital is a division of LADKEM Nigeria Limited, registered in August 1984. The Hospital has 12 staff and runs a 24 hour hospital with a computerised patient database system for easy access to case files or records and in line with the development of the 21st century in patient history documentation for effective health care delivery over a long period of time. Retrieving our patient's records is therefore fast and they can be processed to see the Doctor as fast as possible.
LADKEM was founded by an Ophthalmologist with a wide experience and also retains the services of a Consultant Ophthalmologist who also is highly experienced.
OPTOMETRIST: Dr. (Mrs) Blessing Kumolu – Johnson is the hospital’s chief optometrist and she qualified with a Doctor of Optometrist degree from the University of Benin. She is a member of the Nigerian Optometrist Association and has worked in many reputable eye centres before joining the staff of Ladkem Eye hospital.
OPHTHALMIC NURSE: Mrs Sherifat Olayemi Oke is the Chief Ophthalmic Nurse and has over 20 years of nursing experience, having qualified as a Registered Midwife since 1980 in the School of Midwifery, Bida, Niger State. She has worked in many hospitals, both private and federal before joining the staff list of Ladkem Eye Clinic. She qualified for her Ophthalmic nursing certificate from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Idi Araba.
